Built to bridge the gap between international ambition and Brazilian reality.
Our
Values
Clarity
We help clients understand what matters, what applies to their situation and what should happen next. Our role is to turn uncertainty into a clear, practical route forward.
Trust
Clients rely on us when decisions involve family, money, business and long-term plans. We are careful with recommendations, transparent about our role and honest about where specialist advice is required.
Cultural understanding
Brazil is not a market to approach with assumptions. We combine English-language guidance with Brazilian legal, cultural and local insight, helping clients bridge the gap between both sides.
Practical execution
Advice only matters if it leads somewhere. We help clients organise the moving parts, coordinate with suitable professionals and keep the process structured from first conversation to next step.
OUR PEOPLE
A UK and Brazil team built for cross-border decisions.
Blue Meridian combines UK commercial experience with Brazilian legal, cultural and language insight, giving clients clear English-language guidance with genuine local understanding.
Olga Monteiro brings Brazilian legal training, immigration support experience, Portuguese fluency and cross-border client relationship expertise to Blue Meridian. Originally qualified in Brazil, Olga obtained her Bachelor degree in Law from UniCEUB in Brasília and practised as a freelance lawyer in the Federal District, focusing on criminal defence, client representation, legal analysis, negotiation and courtroom advocacy. This background gives Blue Meridian direct Brazil-side legal and cultural insight, particularly valuable for English-speaking clients trying to understand unfamiliar local processes, professional standards and practical realities.
In the UK, Olga has also supported individuals with immigration matters through Citizens Advice Bureau in Redhill, assisting with visa applications, asylum claims, residency permits, immigration forms and communication with the Home Office and UK Border Force. More recently, she has worked as FX Partnership Manager at Monfor Global Payments, developing relationships with estate agents, asset managers, legal practices and private clients involved in cross-border fund transfers. At Blue Meridian, Olga’s role is central to bridging the UK and Brazil, combining legal awareness, cultural understanding, client advocacy and practical partner coordination.
